BlackFront  Ink is an original grunge/metal/alternative band from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Quickly building a reputation for well-made, catchy tunes with great vocals. Originality and emotionally charged lyrics, they are definitely engaging to the ear. Kenny Black - hailing out of Battle Creek, Michigan, has been involved in music all of his life. His father played saxophone for Ike and Tina turner. His junior year of high school he went out on his own under the name “Black” and shared the stage with big names such as Tesla, Motley Crue, Ratt, & LA Gun N’ Roses. Upon returning and finishing high school, he fronted several local bands and played with the likes of Nonpoint, Slipknot & Five Finger Death Punch. After some time off, Kenny met up with Jeff Moorman and the rest is history in the making. Jeff Moorman, Dean Barry and Geoff Timmer – Jeff and Dean, being brothers, have known Geoff Timmer most of their lives. All three are former members of Common Addiction of Grand Rapids, Michigan. The band participated and were runners-up in the Grand Rapids Heavy Weight Championship competition in 2004. They have received many positive comments on the hook, depth and scope of their music. A rollercoaster for the soul, dripping with silky vocals full of meaning and power. BlackFront Ink is currently working on their first studio album and scheduling venues across lower/west Michigan.
